Finding Open Doors (Pt. 3)

Questions: First, “What seems important as we search for open doors?” And, Second, “What’s truly important?”

Jesus said that God’s plans and God’s Kingdom are most important in your life.

Matthew 6:25 and 6:33 “For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? . . . “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Jesus said that the greatest commandments in God’s Kingdom are to love God and to love others.

Matthew 22:36-39 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’  This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

Galatians 5:6b. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

Considerations:

1. What seems important to you in your life? Is that really important?

2. What is most important to God in your life? How are you looking for open doors to live a life worthy of His Kingdom?
